Our Chairobic exercises are going from strength to strength. Along with the Wednesday Social Group, the Monday Activity Group have taken on board the added benefit of a little light exercise, prior to a welcome lunch.
We base the exercises around starting from the head and going down to our toes, incorporating the use of light weights, bands if preferred, or even small tins of peaches, for that added resistance.
These exercises are designed to strengthen our muscles, aid mobility and flexing the body. They can help with the everyday extremes of daily and independent living, whether it’s picking something up, opening a jar, general housework chores or aiding our mobility whilst going up and down the stairs.
We’d like to thank Sport England for funding these sessions.
