As an independent charity we are always striving to empower and improve the lives of the visually impaired community of Southampton. Whether through peer support, emotional wellbeing, or social activities, our focus is always on our service users – our community informs all we do, including strengthening local partnerships in our efforts to broaden and fulfil the lives of those living with sight loss.

And so we would like to extend a huge and heartfelt thank you to Jessica, Bernadette, and all the staff and performers at Turner Sims and the University’s Music Department who recently welcomed us to their venue for an afternoon of wonderful music. From opera to contemporary, the performance had something for everyone, our members were both enthralled and delighted, and the truly kind and accommodating ambience left a lasting impression.  From opera to contemporary, the performances by University of Southampton talented music students had something for everyone, our members were both enthralled and delighted, and the truly kind and accommodating ambience left a lasting impression.
