Young people with a vision impairment in Southampton recently spent the morning at Southampton City Farm with the Southampton City Council Qualified Teachers of Vision Impairment and Guide Dogs Habilitation Specialists. These activities are funded by Southampton Sight with funds raised by our wonderful supporters undertaking challenge activities.
The young people were able to practice life skills which involved cutting fruit and vegetables to then feed the guinea pigs, chickens, pigs, sheep and goats. Everyone enjoyed meeting all the animals and were happy to warm up around the fire and toast marshmallows.
