A big thanks to Wet Wheels and their fantastic crew who welcomed a group of Southampton Sight’s finest salty seadogs onboard their twin engine, 650-horse powered boat for a spin around the Solent. Who says those with sight loss shouldn’t drive? Our batch of V.I.P.’s not only took to the water, but grasped the helm, pumping up the power with predictably bone-drenching results! Unable to burn rubber on the roads, Chris, 55, was elated with the opportunity to fulfil ‘another first for me’. Wet, wind-swept but wild with excitement, Chris spoke for everyone when back on terra firma, exclaiming ‘we are more capable than we think!’
