After an eventful journey across the seas, our Showdown table has safely landed at Southampton Sight! Getting the crate into the building was no small feat – a tricky manoeuvre involving plenty of muscle and patience – but with the help of our lovely Mark, the crate was finally deposited in the hall. What followed was an energetic unpacking, lots of banging, unscrewing, admiring, and a fair bit of “ooh-ing” and “ahh-ing”. At last, the table was unveiled, a true thing of beauty, standing proudly in all its splendour.
But we don’t want it sitting there looking pristine. We want battle scars, close-fought competitions, and laughter echoing around the hall. If you would like to give it a go, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact us to get involved and help us turn this beautiful table into the well-loved heart of many memorable matches.
Main photo description: The image shows a Showdown table. It has a rectangular tabletop made of light wood. It features raised side walls, rounded corners, goal pockets at each end, and a centreboard.
