Are you or someone you know struggling with day-to-day life with sight loss?
Need a helping hand and advice to cope with the everyday?
We here at Southampton Sight understand that sight loss is not just a physical adjustment, but a new way of living. We also understand that the loss of sight should not mean the loss of life.
Open for anyone sight impaired, severely sight impaired, or simply struggling with restricted vision, our V.I.E.W. (Visually Impaired Emotional Wellbeing) course aims to offer practical advice and peer support in a welcoming and friendly environment tailored for the V.I. community.
The once weekly sessions will run over 6 weeks giving the tools necessary to live independent and full lives, whilst giving members a chance to meet and talk with others in a similar situation.
Topics covered include:
- Confident Communication
- Wellbeing Behaviours
- Support Networks
- Positive Thinking
The course is 100% free starting Tuesday, 3rd of February. Spaces are limited, so if interested phone on 02380 769 882 to register your interest today, or email support@southamptonsight.org.uk
