Undertaking one event on behalf of Southampton Sight is truly humbling for us, but to plan a host of fundraising activities throughout the year leaves us simply speechless with admiration … almost. Thankfully, we still have the breath to give a massive ‘Thank You!’ and shout out to another of our amazing Charity Champions, Rosie, 28. A trainee dispensing optician currently working out of Specsavers, Rosie is kicking off the year with a raffle for an Easter hamper open to anyone to try their luck – pop in store to ask for her directly or contact her via the below link to enter.
Beyond offering Easter goodies, Rosie is also planning to run a game in aid of our charity at the Peartree Fete this coming July, host a quiz night later in the year (details to follow), and, of course, round off her herculean labours by taking part in October’s 10km run here in Southampton. Phew, we feel tired just thinking about it…
