Hello,
I’m Matt, I’m 31 years old, very active and do running, swimming, play football and tennis. I’m a Saints season ticket holder along with my dad. I will be completing my first marathon in Brighton on 6th April and want to raise money for a cause that is important to me, Southampton Sight.
The reason for my fundraising is that my dad was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) a few years ago which has massively changed his life. I have seen how much the support offered from Southampton Sight has helped and want to help raise money so that Southampton Sight can continue to provide the support to my dad and people with similar conditions. I also work with a colleague who has RP and I believe he has had support from Southampton Sight in the past.
