It’s not often you get besieged by a group of visually impaired youngsters eager to taste your wares, but when the Southampton Sight Young V.I. group shimmied up to the West Quay Leisure branch of Nando’s, the staff were not only genuinely welcoming but went above and beyond the call of duty. From help ordering to sighted guidance around the restaurant the service team were warm, friendly and considerate from start to finish, making the once monthly meet a roaring success. We at Southampton Sight cannot thank the Nando’s staff enough for treating everyone so kindly and making us all feel right at home. And no, this is not a sponsored shoutout – just a sincere acknowledgment of true community spirit… and some darn fine chicken 😊
