As our 125th year draws to a close, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your support over the last year. Many of you may be aware that the year has finished with a BIG BANG literally when a lime tree crashed onto our building during Storm Darragh. We are now clearing up the damage and awaiting a structural survey which will tell us what damage has been done to the fabric of the building but with support from the Southampton Community our work has continued at other venues. Christmas lunch was served as planned!
From our laughter and lunch clubs to swimming lessons for our sight impaired ducklings – from emotional wellbeing workshops for people newly diagnosed to exciting external activities for our children and young people – and so much more – we are proud to have delivered so much that has brought people with sight loss together and support their journey for a full independent life. We would not have achieved anything without your backing or funding which has supported people of every age from 0 to 103 years! Thank you it is very much appreciated.
2025 will continue as normal for us here at Southampton Sight as we continue to support people with sight loss in Southampton and we look forward to another successful year.
