Proud moment – Celebrating 125 years delivering services in Southampton for the visually impaired community.  Southampton Sight has over 50% of trustees living with a visual impairment.  Combine this with a ‘living library’ of dedicated staff, volunteers and service users, many of whom themselves live with sight loss, ensures Southampton Sight is both run by and dedicated to serving the local visually impaired community in Southampton.  Yesterday our ‘living library’ was able to come together at our annual volunteer conference to celebrate. Here is Howard Fair, Chair Southampton Sight, and Rev Ben Jones, Vicar of St Lukes in Hedge End, cutting the cake as we all look forward to the next 125 years!
