When you have a good idea and you put it in practise and it works its time to share the knowledge. Today we are sharing with Bill Gardiner, a volunteer with Guernsey Eye Unit, who is attending our Sight Loss Advisor training course. Aimed at empathy and understanding, our new graduate will leave with a breadth of knowledge and experience to support patients attending Guernsey Eye Unit. From sighted guidance to cooking for the Visually Impaired Bill will run the gambit of the sight loss assault course and pack his toolbox with lots of tips on how to support the newly diagnosed to live life differently but positively. A win win for everyone!
