It’s Trustees Week and we asked some of our Trustees what Southampton Sight meant to them?  We are so grateful for all our Trustees for volunteering their time for us.

“I’m incredibly proud of the work we do at Southampton Sight.

On a personal level, I enjoy working as part of an incredibly experienced and committed team of other volunteers and learning from their expertise and perspective.

To me, Southampton Sight is all about inclusion and empowerment. It’s about offering individuals the practical and emotional support and connection they need, in the ways that suit them, to allow them to participate fully in life in Southampton.

I am also proud of the organisations work to support the wider community in understanding and assisting people with sight loss. This helps to ensure that the necessary support and infrastructure are in place for individuals with sight loss.”
