Charles Bonnet Syndrome is a condition which can develop when someone has sight loss.  It is a condition where you see hallucinations that are not real.  It is not a mental health problem or dementia.

The hallucinations can happen suddenly and last for a few minutes or several hours.  They may be patterns such as shapes or lines that may be moving or still.  They can also be of people, animals, objects or places.
