Recently, two groups of young people with vision impairments had the opportunity to visit the fascinating Bursledon Brickworks Museum. Guided by Qualified Teachers of Vision Impairment and Habilitation Specialists, the young participants explored the brickmaking process through touch, sound and creativity.
They toured the museum, discovered traditional tools and machines, and got hands-on with clay to make their very own bricks – each a unique souvenir of a day filled with discovery.
The workshops were not only educational but also a joyful way to connect with local history in an inclusive and memorable setting. A huge thank you to everyone who made the day so special!
