Young people with a vision impairment in Southampton recently spent the morning at “I Wanna be ….” Role Play Village in Romsey with the Qualified Teachers of Vision Impairment and Habilitation Specialists.
The young people were immersed in a stimulating and fun environment which sparked imaginative play, exploration and discovery. In the village there was a grocery shop, ice cream stall, café, vets, fire station and beauty salon. All the young people loved dressing up and role playing within the different shops/services.
Unfortunately, the morning went very quickly and nobody wanted to leave.
