Social Impact. Social Health. Sight Loss Awareness. What do they have in common?
They’re all part of the recipe for a stronger, more inclusive community.
At Southampton Sight, we believe that social health—the ability to connect, belong, and contribute—is just as vital as mental and physical wellbeing. And when you combine that with sight loss awareness and a dash of social impact, something magical happens.
That’s why we’re inviting you (and your colleagues!) to join us for a Cooking for Good volunteering experience. Volunteers will help prepare and serve a delicious meal for one of our weekly social groups. Then you’ll learn a bit about living with sight loss and sighted guiding. It’s hands-on, heart-led, and helps bring joy and connection to people living with sight loss.
Whether you’re chopping veg, stirring sauce, or sharing stories – your time makes a difference.
Ready to roll up your sleeves for something truly worthwhile? Give us a shout!
