We here at Southampton Sight are always striving to help our members and the local V.I. community live as independent and fulfilling lives as possible. So, it is always welcome to hear when a company has gone that extra mile to provide the service and support needed by the differently abled. So it was when one of our members, Keith, found himself in need of a new television. Technology can be a daunting beast at the best of times, but factor in a visual impairment and the thought of unboxing, positioning and, worst of all, setting up a new appliance is enough to deter even the most avid telly-addict. Thankfully help was at hand in the shape of the excellent service provided by John Lewis. Not only did they take care of the installation from start to finish, they also removed all the packaging and the old TV in the process. They understood the needs of their customer, and Keith and family could not be happier.
