This week started slightly differently than usual, Gail and I both had no support workers with us on Tuesday so she was my eyes and I was her hands. When I needed print looking at I borrowed Gail’s eyes (I promise I gave them back) I also returned the favour by stuffing envelopes as this is one task Gail struggles with.

This week has been very quiet in the centre, I have seen two service users for advice and support, one came in for a refresher of how to use JAWS (a screen reader for the computer) the other gentleman came in for advice on what computer software might be best suited for him to use.  I am missing my support worker- not saying she is particularly loud just haven’t been as productive as I usually am.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas  at Southampton Sight. We have decked out the hall in preparation for the 2 Christmas dinners, 3 Christmas parties and a Carol concert.  What a busy month we’ll have!
